Although she is very well known as being one of the most beautiful women in the world, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is refusing to wear any revealing or skimpy outfits for the upcoming Hollywood movie, Pink Panther 2. According to the script to this film, there are several scenes where the former Miss World is charged with wearing “hot and revealing outfits.” Unfortunately for the director and producers, however, Mrs. Bachchan has outright refused to wear any of them.
She is clearly being a modest woman in this respect. In fact, she previously turned down an offer by Karan Johar, because his movie would require Aishwarya to participate in some “raunchy bed scenes.” Apparently, the main reason why she has decided to turn down such offers and refuse to wear skimpy outfits is because of her marriage and respect to her husband. Some say that she would have “grabbed the offer with both hands” while she was still single.
If you’re hoping to find Aishwarya in some steamy scenes with hot outfits, your only opportunity is Dhoom 2. On a side note, the Bachchan clan has pressured Yash Raj Films to remove Ash’s kissing scenes from that movie, so you’ll have to find an early release.

Aishwarya Bachchan used to be good friends with Rani Mukherjee. The two Bollywood actresses used to be on the best of terms with one another, but things have changed. Their friendship has gone south since Rani took a film role that was earlier earmarked for the former Miss World. The role in Chalte Chalte was supposed to be for Aishwarya, but it is not occupied by Rani.
Apparently, Mrs. Bachchan is very upset over the matter and has kept her distance from the other actress. Ironically, Rani has always been a close friend of the Bachchan family, especially since Rani seems to have a good on-screen chemistry with Abhishek. This “chemistry” furthers the heat between Ash and Rani, obviously. In fact, this “bad blood” prevented Rani from being invited to the wedding between Ash and Abhi.
It is rumored that Aishwarya had some nasty comments about Rani’s “excessive make-up” in certain parts of the film. Rani did not appreciate these remarks, but she has kept a dignified silence. For how long, we cannot say.

The lovely Aishwarya Bachchan is really starting to make waves in North America, having already been involved in several Hollywood movies like The Last Legion. She will soon be appearing in a new comedy alongside Steve Martin.
What you see above is a picture from the set of Pink Panther 2, a funny movie that follows up on the first Pink Panther movie — also starring Steve Martin — which was released a few years back. This confirms earlier reports that Aishwarya would be featured in the movie.
More pictures on the set of the film can be found here.

Contrary to reports earlier this month that Aishwarya Bachchan
could be pregnant with Baby B, it has now come to the surface that this is not the case.
In a brief statement given on the sidelines of an endorsement event last Thursday, husband Abhishek Bachan squashed the rumors that Ash was pregnant, saying “That’s incorrect… there’s no such good news. When there is, I will tell you.”
This short sentence says many things. First, Ash is not pregnant (or at least she’s not known to pregnant), and second, Abhishek would be happy to father a new addition to the powerful Bachchan family, because he refers to a potential Ash pregnancy as “good news.”
In a related report, Abhishek asserted that his wife will come first before him. “You always give things first to the wife, and then you have [things for yourself].” He added that this was how marriages worked among Indians.

Last month, we showed you the trailer to The Last Legion, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan alongside Hollywood stars Colin Firth and Ben Kingsley. We had high hopes for this movie, because it could have provided an excellent opportunity for the former Miss World to get some US exposure.
Unfortunately, The Last Legion was met with very little critical or box office success, being beaten out by other movies released around the same time, like The Bourne Ultimatum and Superbad.
According to TheCelebrityCafe.com, very few media outlets have even bothered to review the film and those that have are less than impressed.
Nathan Rabin, of The Onion, writes, “Though it’s never wise to underestimate the power or universal appeal of [Aishwarya] Rai’s cleavage and lustrous hair, that’s about all that sets the doggedly mediocre The Last Legion apart from every other sword-and-sandal epic about the origins of Camelot.â€

Everyone’s favorite Bollywood starlet is really making waves on the other side of the Pacific in Hollywood. We heard earlier that she would play a warrior in The Last Legion and that a wax statue in her likeness would be revealed at Madame Tussaud’s in New York. Now, it has reported that the former Miss World will take on a starring role alongside Steve Martin in The Pink Panther 2, a sequel to The Pink Panther released in 2006, which in turn was a re-make of the original movie shown in 1975.
This news has been confirmed by Harii Singh, Ash’s business manager. In addition to Steve Martin, The Pink Panther 2 will also feature famous Hollywood actors Andy Garcia, John Cleese, and Alfred Molina. You may remember Molina’s portrayal of Dr. Octavius in Spider-Man 2. Other stars include Jean Reno and Emily Mortimer, both of whom will be reprising their roles from the first Pink Panther movie.
The Pink Panther 2 is scheduled for release in 2009 with initial shooting to begin in France next month. “Aishwarya will finish the dubbing for Ashutosh Gowariker’s Akbar Jodha and the shooting of Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar 2 before starting on The Pink Panther 2. From the first week of September to the end of October, she will be shooting outside India,” said Harii Singh.

Aishwarya Bachchan looks pretty happy in that picture, doesn’t she? Could that be a maternal glow that she has on her face? That’s the latest news coming out of Times of India, which is reporting that the former Miss World could be pregnant with Abhishek’s first child.
This is still a rumor at this point, but it is well within the realms of possibility, considering that the couple has been married for four months now and they are very happy together.
The sex of the baby has not yet been determined, of course, so in the meantime everyone is referring to the upcoming addition to the Bachchan family as “Baby B”, following in the same line of thought as the “Big B”, Amitabh Bachchan, who would become a grandfather as a result. Given that Aishwarya, Abhishek, and Amitabh all have the initials AB, there is a distinct possibility that Baby B will also get a name that starts with an A. When Abhishek was asked if he would follow this pattern for his first child, he said, “That’s actually a cool thought. I haven’t thought about it, though.”

The lovely Aishwarya Bachchan is not only beautiful, but the former Miss World is also very charitable. Ash, along with husband Abhishek Bachchan and cousin Namrita Bachchan, recently painted a canvas as part of a charity initiative being organized by NGO Khushii.
Aishwarya had a great time at the charity event, saying that it was “super fun. I was supposed to paint alongside another artist but since this is with one’s family, it’s truly a cherishable experience. It just feels so right to have done this together – all our hearts beating for one cause, the larger picture.” The group effort was a first for Namrita, who normally paints alone.
“I knew that this wouldn’t just be my painting alone; it would be ‘our’ painting. In fact, I have named this painting after the song ‘One Love’ that Abhishek sang in the movie ‘Rakht’. Also, Aishwarya and Abhishek have put in their combined efforts for this painting and hence the name.” The painting was named ‘Two Hearts: One Love’ to commemorate the noble event.
