The movie Jodha Akbar will be released worldwide on January 25, 2008. It will star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Jodha and Hrithik Roshan as Emperor Akbar, a love story based loosely upon the trues story of the 16th century Emperor and his wife.
Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan were voted as MTV’s most stylish couple the other night at the Lycra MTV awards in Mumbai. There have been several versions of the trailer pirated and released, but the director refuses to release the official trailer prior to November 9th.
The official website has a button that says TRAILER, but when you go there, you just get a nice letter from the director, saying you are just out of luck until November 9th.
Aishwarya Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are the cutest couple in Bollywood history I’ve ever seen.
I really love both of them from the bottom of my heart. I think Abhishek is the most handsome man I’ve seen in Bollywood history and Aish is the most gorgeous woman I’ve ever seen ever more beautiful than Priyanka Chopra… (no offense)….But she is beautiful

I saw Aishwarya’s interview on NDTV with Anupama Chopra on Marriage, Jodha Akbar and The Pink Panter….
While it is always a pleasure watching a pretty face like aishwarya being interviewed.
There was a lot of indirect and no so indirect media bashing.She appears to harbour some kind of bitterness for the media. I think what was missing was humility and gratitude in her. Apart from ‘Cringing’ and being judged (as stated by her in the interview) the woman should have some gratitude for having received so much attention. A tiny bit would also do. This is a small price to pay for fame. Maybe she should take some tips from ‘the head of her family’. Apart from taking strides alongside hollywood stars she should also take a lesson in humility from them.
If there were a top 20 list of ‘the most annoying people in the year’ (like there is in US and UK) she would top the charts consistently for her insufferability. Mind you , i do like some of her work and i think her beauty is unsurpassed in our country and more than half of the planet, she takes things for granted just because she has had it easy.
Even stars like Brad pitt, Angelina jolie, julia roberts are more grounded and do not openly indulge in ill-mannered, ill-timed media bashing.

i just saw the movie jodha akbar yesterday and i am all smitten by the ageless classic romance of jodha and akbar.
what a man akbar, he is a revolutionary man of his times, gave here so much of personal space and treated her equally, respected her dignity of being a woman and that what stand him aprt from the crowd.
Difference between the so called hot scenes and the classic romance is that you see those hot scenes, get passionate and you forget it when the next comes but the romance asin joda akbar i amazing,,true love, how slowly the win the hearts and that’s what makes it an ageless classic..
More classics expected from you aishwaray..and nedless to say, you are the one who has a b’ful face and great acting skills too !!
God bless you forever and may we see a lot of your great movies in coming times..and never cross the line between glamour/fashion/beauty and that of Vulagarity..that is what will set you apart from the whole bunch of these “talented actresses”
