Immortalized at Madame Tussaud’s Famous Wax Museum
Jul 24th, 2007

Her beauty has officially been immortalized. Years from now, we will still be able to revel in the astonishing beauty of Aishwarya Bachchan because a very lifelike wax statue of the former Miss World has been created for Madame Tussaud’s famous wax museum in Times Square, the famed landmark in the middle of New York City. Aishwarya is scheduled to visit New York some time next month to commemorate the unveiling of, well, herself.
The launch, according to rediff news, is planned for mid-August. This isn’t the first wax statue to bear the appearance of the new Mrs. Bachchan. In fact, a similar piece of art has been in place in London since 2004, around the same time that Gurinder Chadha’s Bride And Prejudice was released. Ash had the leading role in that film. The only other Bollywood star to be featured at Madame Tussaud’s is the legendary Big B himself, Amitabh Bachchan.
Now they just have to convince the wax workers to create a likeness of Abhishek and the family acting trio will be complete!
FYI, if you want to go see Madame Tussaud’s in NYC on 42nd street, consider getting a NY Pass which gets you into 40+ New York tourist sites for one price. i.e. Madame Tussauds normally is $32, but with NY pass it would be $17 if you just went to that one tourist site for the whole day. If you went to more sites, it would come out to less.
